Ivica Kostelić is a former alpine skier, one of the most successful athletes in history of alpine skiing. His achievements include Overall World cup title, World Champion title, 4 Olympic medals, 26 individual World cup victories and 60 podiums. His passion for offshore and ocean racing started after his sailing career in 2017, racing a Class 40 boat in numerous races on the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. He is racing on Class 40 #130, an older generation boat but achieved some notable results such as 17th place in Transat Jacques Vabre 2021, 10th place in Normandy Channel Race 2021 and placing 10th in Class 40 championship 2021.
